TEWKSBURY — Chief Ryan Columbus reports that the Tewksbury Police Department arrested a Winchester man on charges including drug distribution and trafficking.
DAHRYUN PROPHETE, AGE 29, of WINCHESTER, was arrested and charged with:
- Distribution of a Class B Drug (two counts) (subsequent offense)
- Possession with Intent to Distribute of a Class B Drug (subsequent offense)
- Trafficking in 18 Grams or More of Cocaine
- Operation of a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License
The Tewksbury Police Department Criminal Investigations Division Narcotics Unit and the Merrimack Valley Anti Crime Task Force conducted an investigation in the area of Ames Hill Drive. As a result, police determined that PROPHETE had been allegedly distributing drugs, and he was arrested without incident on Wednesday, Jan. 21.
Police recovered over 23.1 grams of cocaine during the arrest.
PROPHETE is due to be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Thursday, Jan. 22.
These are allegations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
