TEWKSBURY – Police Chief Ryan Columbus reports that the Tewksbury Police Department arrested and charged three people with drug offenses as a result of two separate investigations this week.

ERICA GAUTHIER, AGE 50, OF DRACUT, was arrested and charged with:

  • Distribution of a Class B Substance (Four Counts)
  • Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws

KIMBERLY HEBERT, AGE 55, OF DRACUT, was arrested and charged with:

  • Distribution of a Class B Substance (Two Counts)
  • Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws
  • Possession of a Class E Substance
  • Possession of a Class B Substance

STEPHEN ELLIOTT, AGE 36, OF LOWELL, was arrested and charged with:

  • Distribution of a Class B Substance
  • Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute
  • Possession of a Class A Substance
  • Possession of a Class B Substance

On Friday, April 7, at approximately 9:15 a.m., Tewksbury Police were conducting surveillance in the area of 95 Main St., when they observed what they believed to be multiple drug transactions. In each instance, detectives stopped individuals leaving the area and, located drugs on them, and secured evidence regarding the source of the drugs.

Subsequently, on April 8, police obtained a search warrant from Lowell District Court for a room at the Motel 6, 95 Main St., and located 2 grams of fentanyl, nine tablets of buprenorphine, as well as drug dealing paraphernalia. ELLIOTT was arrested at that time. 

On Wednesday, April 12, as part of a separate investigation, Tewksbury Police also arrested GAUTHIER and HEBERT for distribution of drugs. 

ELLIOTT was arraigned in Lowell District Court on April 9. 

HEBERT and GAUTHIER were arraigned in Lowell District Court on April 13.

These are allegations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
