
TEWKSBURY — Chief Ryan Columbus reports that Tewksbury Police arrested and charged a Quincy man with drug trafficking and possession.
FLORIAN ROSHI, AGE 41, of QUINCY, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Trafficking in More than 10 Grams of Fentanyl
- Possession of a Class B Drug
- Possession of a Class C Drug
- Possession of a Class E Drug (Two Counts)
On Tuesday, July 23 at approximately 7 p.m., Tewksbury Police were operating in the area of Main Street when officers observed what appeared to be a drug transaction between two individuals, the driver of a blue Toyota Highlander, and the driver of a green Toyota Camry, near the Motel 6.
Tewksbury Police then attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop of both vehicles.
The driver of the green Toyota Camry, identified as ROSHI, was pulled over by police, however, the blue Highlander sped away from police and was not found.
Through a preliminary search of ROSHI’s vehicle, officers located six plastic bags containing a white rock-like substance weighing 2.8 grams believed to be crack cocaine, approximately 10.8 grams of a tan powdery substance believed to be fentanyl, and 8.3 grams of psilocybin, also known as mushrooms. Officers also located approximately 250 milligrams of testosterone and a box of 25 Oxymetholone pills, neither of which ROSHI has a prescription for.
ROSHI’s vehicle also contained multiple needles and cash.
ROSHI was arrested at the scene without incident.
ROSHI was arraigned in Lowell District Court on July 24 and was held on $1,000 bail. ROSHI subsequently posted bail and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court again on Aug. 23.
All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
