TEWKSBURY — Chief Ryan Columbus reports that the Tewksbury Police Department arrested and charged a man with trafficking methamphetamine.
CAMERON JOYCE, AGE 30, OF TEWKSBURY, was arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking in Methamphetamine (36 Grams or More)
- Operating with a Suspended Registration
- Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle
- Unregistered Motor Vehicle
- Operating a Motor Vehicle with License Suspended
On Thursday, June 27, members of the Tewksbury Police Narcotics Unit observed a drug transaction as it took place outside a home on Grove Street, and quickly moved in to stop the individual involved, who was later identified as JOYCE.
Police found 135 tablets of what appeared to be Adderall weighing approximately 42 grams, as well as $1,191 in cash. Subsequent testing revealed the tablets to be methamphetamine.
JOYCE was taken into custody at the scene. He was arraigned Friday in Lowell District Court.
All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
