Chief Ryan Columbus reports that the Tewksbury Police Department, with assistance from the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office, has arrested two men on drug charges.

NOE OJEDA, JR., Age 26, of LOWELL, is charged with:

  • Distribution of a Class B Drug
  • Trafficking in 18 grams or more, less than 36 grams of Cocaine
  • Trafficking in 18 grams or more of Fentanyl

THOMAS V. FERRARO, JR., Age 49, of TEWKSBURY, is charged with:

  • Possession of Class B Drug, Subsequent Offense

On Friday, May 15, Tewksbury Police and a Middlesex Sheriff’s Deputy observed what they believed to be a drug sale in progress on Pike Street, and detained both OJEDA and a man later identified as FERRARO.

A search of OJEDA’s vehicle discovered 1.1 grams of crack cocaine, 33.8 grams of Fentanyl, and $1,159 in cash.

Police subsequently learned that FERRARO has outstanding warrants from Framingham District Court for drug and motor vehicle charges.

OJEDA and FERRARO will be arraigned in Lowell District Court.

“I am grateful for the partnership with the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office as we continue to be pro-active in targeting drug dealers,” said Chief Columbus.
