TEWKSBURY — Chief Ryan Columbus reports that the Tewksbury Police Department arrested and charged two men with drug distribution.  

OSCAR LARA-ARIAS, AGE 29, of LAWRENCE, was arrested and charged with the following: 

  • Distribution of a Class A Substance 
  • Distribution of a Class B Substance 

WILBERT IRZARRY-PENA, AGE 29, of BOSTON, was arrested and charged with the following: 

  • Distribution of a Class A Substance 
  • Distribution of a Class B Substance 

On Friday, Sept. 27 at approximately 2:56 p.m., Tewksbury Police arrested and charged LARA-ARIAS and IRZARRY-PENA as a result of an ongoing investigation.  

LARA-ARIAS and IRZARRY-PENA were arrested after selling more than $100 worth of crack cocaine and fentanyl in the area of 95 Main St.  

LARA-ARIAS and IRZARRY-PENA were arrested without incident and are scheduled to be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Monday, Sept. 30. 

These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
