LUCITANIA SIPRIAN, AGE 29, of LAWRENCE, was arrested and charged on drug charges Thursday night.
DIONICIO CONFESOR ARIAS CRUZ, AGE 44, of LAWRENCE, was arrested and charged on drug charges Thursday night.

Chief Ryan Columbus reports that the Tewksbury Police Department arrested two people on drug charges Thursday night. 

LUCITANIA SIPRIAN, AGE 29, of LAWRENCE, was arrested and charged with:

  • Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law
  • Trafficking in More than 36 Grams of a Class A Drug 

DIONICIO CONFESOR ARIAS CRUZ, AGE 44, of LAWRENCE, was arrested and charged with: 

  • Trafficking in More than 36 Grams of a Class A Drug
  • Distribution of a Class A Drug
  • Trafficking in More than 10 Grams of Fentanyl (4 counts)
  • Trafficking in More than 18 Grams of a Class A Drug (4 counts)
  • Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle
  • Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law

On Thursday, Sept. 5 at about 7:11 p.m., Tewksbury Police arrested ARIAS CRUZ as a result of an ongoing investigation. 

ARIAS CRUZ was arrested after selling approximately 42.2 grams of fentanyl in the area of Ames Hill Drive. 

During the arrest, officers observed a female passenger in ARIAS CRUZ’s vehicle, who was later identified as SIPRIAN.

Officers also executed a search warrant of ARIAS CRUZ’s vehicle and found over $300 in cash. 

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency issued an immigration detainer on both ARIAS CRUZ and SIPRIAN.

ARIAS CRUZ and SIPRIAN were arrested without incident. 

They were arraigned in Lowell District Court on Friday, Sept. 6 and are currently being held on $15,000 bail.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
