TEWKSBURY — Chief Ryan Columbus reports that the Tewksbury Police Department arrested and charged a Lowell man with drug distribution and possession.  

OMARI ROBINSON, AGE 26, of LOWELL, was arrested and charged with the following: 

  • Distribution of a Class B Substance (Subsequent Offense) 
  • Possession of a Class B Substance (Subsequent Offense) 

On Monday, July 8, at approximately 8:08 p.m., Tewksbury Police with assistance from the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office arrested ROBINSON as a result of an ongoing investigation.  

ROBINSON was arrested after selling 100 dollars’ worth of crack cocaine, in the area of 1915 Andover St.  

During a subsequent search of ROBINSON and his vehicle, officers located what is believed to be methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.  

ROBINSON was arrested at the scene without incident.  

ROBINSON is scheduled to be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Tuesday. 

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
