TEWKSBURY – Police Chief Ryan Columbus reports that the Tewksbury Police Department has charged a man for allegedly exposing himself to a woman outside of a local business.

LOGAN LAJEUNESSE, AGE 24, OF NORWICH, CONN., was arrested and charged with:

  • Open and Gross Lewdness

On Thursday, Jan. 25, the Tewksbury Police Department received a report of lewd activity in a business parking lot at 10 Main St.

Through its initial investigation, Tewksbury Police learned that earlier in the day a man had exposed himself to a woman and had made a lewd comment. The man then drove away in a white pickup truck. Tewksbury Police searched the parking lot but could not locate the truck or driver involved.

A subsequent investigation, that included releasing numerous surveillance images to the public, was not successful in identifying a suspect, but detectives continued their investigation using search warrants and other means, and eventually identified LAJEUNESSE as a suspect.

LAJEUNESSE then turned himself in to Tewksbury Police on Thursday, Feb. 29. He was held without bail and transported Thursday morning to Lowell District Court for arraignment.

“I want to thank our detectives who worked this case with dedication and persistence,” said Chief Columbus. “It was difficult to identify this suspect since he does not live in the area, but our detectives worked hard until they were able to make an identification.”
