TEWKSBURY – Police Chief Ryan Columbus reports that the Tewksbury Police Department arrested and charged two individuals with drug distribution charges.

SHAHEED WILLIAMS, AGE 38, OF BEVERLY, was arrested and charged with: 

  • Distribution of a Class B Substance (Subsequent Offense)

ANGELA LEMIEUX, AGE 27, OF TEWKSBURY, was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute

On Friday, Jan. 5, at approximately 12:50 p.m., Tewksbury Police were conducting surveillance in the area of Ames Hill Drive with assistance from the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office. 

Investigators observed what appeared to be a drug transaction between a man in a vehicle, and a woman who lives in the apartments. Officers then stopped both individuals. 

The woman, identified as LEMIEUX, was found in possession of two grams of cocaine in separate baggies and a digital scale. The man involved in the transaction, identified as WILLIAMS, was found with cash. 

Both were arrested on scene and arraigned Monday in Lowell District Court. 

These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
