Modeled after Coffee with a Cop, in which residents and police get to know each other over coffee, Pizza with the Police will use free pizza to bring residents, business owners and other community members together with police officers and command staff for conversations and a chance to get to know each other.

Pizza with the Police is being sponsored by Wicked Cheesy and the Tewksbury Police Athletic League. The rain date for the event is Wednesday, Sept. 27.

“The Tewksbury Police Department is committed to building relationships with members of our community, and to fostering positive interactions,” said Chief Columbus. “Please join us for some free pizza, courtesy of Wicked Cheesy and the Police Athletic League, conversations, and a chance to form community bonds.”
